There is an old Cherokee story of two wolves that goes like this:
One day a Cherokee Elder sits down with the grandson to teach him about life.
“A fight is going on inside of me.” he says to the boy.
“It’s a terrible fight between two wolves. One is evil - he is full of rage, jealousy, arrogance, greed, sorrow, regret, lies, laziness, and self-pity.”
He continues, “The other is good - he is filled with love, joy, peace, generosity, truth, empathy, courage, humility, and faith. This same fight is going on inside the hearts of everyone, including you.”
The grandson thinks about this for a few minutes, and then asks his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replies, “The one you feed.”

It is not always easy to feed your good wolf. We are all human and will make mistakes and fail along the way. We do not have to be lone wolves in the process of developing and growing. There is incredible strength in being able to ask for support and to find your pack. I would have once described myself as a lone wolf, and throughout my growth, I have recognized that there have always been people in my corner. Once we open ourselves up, we put ourselves in a position of thriving versus surviving. We are our greatest asset and strength in maintaining our power and writing our stories. I am here to support you in your process.
